The AFP-PN, PM should secure and protect, uphold the Country's Sovereignty at all cost, if the Govt. fails to act accordingly, they are duly sworn to their loyalty, to protect the Country and the Filipino people.

AFP plane spots Chinese frigate stuck in shoal, Gazmin asks why it was in PH territory?
www.interaksyon.com

As a Philippine military aircraft sighted the Chinese frigate stuck on Hasahasa Shoal off Palawan, Palace officials said Saturday Philippine authorities are ready to help free up the ship that ran aground on a shoal within Philippine territory, but the defense chief says they want a good answer first on why the military boat got there.
Quote:

“We will know why that ship was there,” was the reaction of Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin to the Chinese government’s admission that one of its Navy frigates ran aground on Hasahasa Shoal, a maritime area located in the West Philippine Sea.

The Chinese frigate and smaller craft were sighted by a Philippine Islander plane, said regional military spokesman Colonel Neil Anthony Estrella.

He said five more vessels and a number of smaller boats were assisting the grounded ship.

A navy ship and a coast guard vessel had been dispatched to the area to monitor the Chinese operations, he added.

He stressed that the shoal was just 60 nautical miles from the western Philippine island of Palawan, well within the country's 200-nautical-mile exclusive economic zone, as recognised by international law.

Defense chief Gazmin, however, said that if the Chinese ship needs help to get unstuck, the Navy and Coast Guard have been directed to go to the area to provide assistance and to also validate the incident.
Quote:

“Accident or whatever, right now we are not very sure of that and that’s why we are trying to validate. If we’ve to offer assistance for them we will do so for them to get out of the place,” he said.

Quote:

“As of now, we are preparing our assets and I cannot give you an official statement since we don’t have yet a visual report…The Coast Guard was already proceeding to the area,” he said.

Valte said that so far, the DFA have yet received any request of assistance from the China government.

“To my knowledge, assistance has not been asked for but it will be given if it is,” she said, refusing to comment any further.

Dare they attack us or our assets directly, and they are going to be the aggressors of the Next war in the Pacific.

There won't be a war and they know it. Not with the world economy as it is. They're out to prove a point and it's not even about the impotence of the Philippine govt. They're showing the rest of ASEAN America won't intervene no matter how blatant it gets. Hillary Clinton notwithstanding.

To my opinion the PN should surround that f--king ship and this now our opportunity to make a statement! China cannot just attack our ships! If they do then thats the start of WW5!

Its freaking shame too if we let the chinese rescue team got there first before we do!

If they do then it's the start of the Philippine-Chinese War. We're on our own. They've done this before and they remember what happened.

"In addition, the South Vietnamese fleet also received warnings from the United States that their naval radar had detected additional Chinese guided missile frigates and MiG jet fighters on their way from nearby Hainan. South Vietnam requested assistance from the US Seventh Fleet, but the request was rejected."

If we have only invested all the necessary equipment a long time ago then this would have not happened.

ANO BA YAN!

ITS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES TALAGA :headbang:

So you're saying that if we fired at the chinese vessel we'd be the one starting the war???

Haven't we have the right to protect our very own territory???

If we're on our own, SO WHAT??? It's our responsibilty to protect the integrity of our territory. The chicom ship have no business to be there in the first place!
