Hit the nail right on the head.:lollol: I don't think this is deliberate. I could be wrong though. Impound, quarantine, drug search, whatever we can think of that can keep it there longer. Just like what the Japanese/US did with that Soviet MIG-25 way back in 1972 or what the Commies did with that USAF Lockheed EP-3 a few years ago.

If it's a battle of the "pakapalan ng mukha" then I suggest we intern the ship and make it as our makeshift training base and a support base as well. Or if we want some muscle, then send the Humabon there and make an expensive fireworks show. Out of a grounded corvette/frigate. |

Success through information, victory through disinformation. "Good leaders make efficient followers. Great leaders make good followers. But true leaders make leaders out of mere followers." "Measuring the intelligence of a common internet user is as easy as looking at his/her grammar." | |

How about sending all their crew then let the captain testify? I think this is more of an unsolicited visit because we didn't have a port call on a Chinese warship. |
If you don't want a modern and capable AFP, you might want to get the f*ck off the Philippines because you don't deserve to be a Filipino that's why!

Sending a ship with foreign media would be the best course of action RP can do at the moment. Better to arrive at the area first before any chinese ship comes along. |

this would really be the time that generals would worry.. wondering how they would respond in the absence of air and naval assets, they must be kicking themselves in the groin |
