MANILA, Philippines - Russia is supporting the Philippines' stand that rules based on transparency and diplomacy should be used to resolve maritime issues. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov aired his government's support during his bilateral meeting with Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario in Moscow on March 13, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Thursday. Salamat at dumarami na ang KAMPI ng Pinas tungkol sa Maritime issues dyan sa Bajo de Masinloc or Panatag. Dito takot ang China pag dumami ang so-called Legal Supporters ng PH once the case is forwarded to UN Tribunal... Kaya ayaw ng China ang i-Internationalize ang Issues tungkol dyan dahil sa una mapapahiya sila sa kanilang sinasabing Core Interest and Indisputable Ownership which in fact there are no really basis at all... The said Chinese Explorer whom they refer as the one who named Panatag Shoal as Huangyan is just a Business TRADER and exploring trading routes. The map is just a Maritime Trading Guide map ... not a Territorial MAP. |

Russia is clearly hedging its bets. Getting China a little off balance in the Panatag Shoal issue won't hurt either. |

Bolanchiao! Chinese government, stay out of PH territory! You don't have legal basis to claim PH property based on your "brilliant historical" map. You are GRABBERS. If you really believe you have the right to claim, accept the international tribune for the proper legal battle, unless you're scared and chickens. Prove the legality in proper courts. |
