ASG ah, well, it really does not matter, besides If MILFs are serious for peace and negotiations our demands should be for MILF to disarm and kill their rouge members including ASGs, the truth is all of them are the same. this is it, we christians should drive them out of mindanao and let them flee to Sabah and maybe they can start their own revolution in Sabah and they can have Sabah as their sub state, let the Malaysians deal with them. |

MILF oR ASG they are all the same "monkeys" they are both the highest domestic threat in our nation and should be driven or wiped out for good. Unfortunately we will still have to kick them out of Sabah when we our nation decides to take it back. |

at that point in time they only concentrated in one island which Sabah then we can wage war on them like what Sri Lanka did to Tamils, engage them both in conventional and unconventional warfare. continous bombardment and naval blockade to cut off their supply lines. then the main assault no mans land clearing operation. |

Hitman, with the current situation here in Mindanao I doubt that the MILF will stay in the negotiation table. If I am not wrong the MILF is slowly becoming more active in many parts of Mindanao and that includes Zamboanga Peninsula. Right my ninong's in the military are saying that the MILF are gearing up as the negotiations on the Sub-state is now officially a stalemate. Right now my ninong's who are assigned in the WESMINCOM are saying that their could be more aggression from the MILF. |

Last missing soldier in Basilan clash rescued MANILA, Philippines - The last soldier reported missing in action after last Tuesday's clash in Al-Barka town in Basilan has been rescued, the military reported Thursday. Lt. Col. Alex Macario, commander of Special Operations Task Force Basilan, said Private First Class Michael Natividad, has been found Thursday morning. A military aircraft is set to arrive in Basilan to transport Natividad to Camp Navarro General Hospital in Zamboanga City. A total of 19 soldiers were killed after fighting broke out between government troops and a mix of Abu Sayyaf members and Moro Islamic Liberation Front rebels in Sitio Baquisong in Cambug village, Al-Barka town. Army spokesman Col. Antonio Parlade said 6 soldiers captured alive by Abu Sayyaf bandits in the clash were summarily executed after they were turned over to the MILF. He said the 6 soldiers ran out of bullets, which led to their capture. "The 6 were murdered and abandoned in Bata-bato (village). They saw them alive yesterday," he said. "They were found far from the encounter site, it's clear that they were murdered." Parlade said they earlier asked the MILF to release the soldiers that the rebels held captive. "We requested... for the MILF to release them and turn them over to us alive. But they (MILF) denied holding captives. They were killed and abandoned in Barangay Bato-bato," he said. He said he does not know yet if the 6 soldiers were shot dead or hacked to death by their captors. Read more |
