Part of their training should include lifting weights and body building to not only improve their postures, also their strength and cardio resistance for foot chasing.

Anyone here knows something? Thank you. :thumb: :armycheers:

Body building is an optional & individual choice. To be physically & mentally fit for the job is the police profession's vital requirement. They have to pass the agility test as part of the requirement for recruitment.

Most cops can easily ballon their waists while in the service. I think the PNP has a scheme of retraining cops who never care to trim the bulge. This way the cops will indulge a trimming program of their own rather than undergoing the inconvenience of the rigorous & hectic training.

well it really depends what unit are we talking about..I know overweight buddies who work desk jobs all their careers, but when it came to crunchtime they perform exceptionaly well...Of course im just jesting. It use to be mandatory to get the personell into a acceptable physicall fitness level.Dont know what happened to the said program.I guess it went with the good ol senator from cavite.
body building per se is not really a good option. What PNP personell needs are realistic, easy to do follow & not time consuming workout program that combine the major factors of over all fitness..Namely Cardio,Flexibility(dexterity)strenght, speed& concentration.oh of course a healthy diet & lifestyle....& i just got those said program..wish me luck when i start peddling it to the top brass :rifle:

Let's make the Marine Drill Sergeant's be the supervisor for the PNP "weight management program". :lollol:
