China is just basing their claims from a dead dynasty and from merchants, the question is it scientifically proven, most territorial claims especially when it involves the sea is based on the continental shelf or proximity, if I am not wrong.

Then I think its time to update our Philippine Map. Because if we buy Philippine map today its only shows kalayaan group of islands as our territory but not PEEZ. I think if we want to have a strong claim to our PEEZ we need to include it in our map.

That will be nice.. but i don't think it will really help in our claim..

Sometimes it is good to poke the eyes of the Chinese sometimes, I remember when Japanese Prime Minister commemorated the WW2 military grave the Chinese went ballistic.

Why be content on maps. I though it was already clear that we can lay claim to Taiwan. After we invade Taiwan (presuming we are successful) we now have to defend both Taiwan and the mother country from mainland China. Easy and very realistic di ba?

We can't invade taiwan yet, but we can give their military hardwares some shelter if china invades them in return they have to be transferred to the AFP arsenals. :armycheers:

I think it's better that after we invade Taiwan, we will sell them to China... and of course we will embargo all their weapons and equipment, because as you may know, we don't have those...

Selling Taiwan will generate a lot of money for some of our corrupt officials...

China knows we can't invade Taiwan, so they'll call our bluff and say, "If you can invade and occupy, it's yours and we won't persist in our claim."

Then make a mock attack with a platoon from PMC; let Taiwan surrender after a mock battle, then we sell it back to them for $1. On the same document of surrender and resale, they commit to helping us with military projects and provide us with military aid every year.

Problem solved for Taiwan, problem haft solved for the Phil.
