No wonder the Russians do not trust the Americans over that missile defense crap they have in Europe. OFF TOPIC BUT I THINK IT IS INTERESTING IN HOW THE US GOVERNMENT DOES IT'S BUSINESS. The US brokering a peace deal here? Israeli-Palestine Conflict anyone.

The US officials in the Philippines who were dealing with the MILF see only a small picture..... Peace and happiness for the MILF. They seem to have a myopic view since they did not take into account the other people of Mindanao. They have probably ignored intelligence reports of MILF tactical alliances. The threats against US and RP forces still continues. Policies fail because of hasty conclusions. The Americans who developed a lopsided policy of peace without honor surely do not want a repeat of an Afghanistan scenario with MILF mutating into "Taliban" because of the creation of a Pan Islamic State. The MILF are not for development of the peoples economic lot and see development as a hindrance to them. This message goes out to the correct thinking Americans out there. Please wake up! The creation of an MILF Bangsamoro Pan Islamic Sub-state will create more security problems and risks in the coming years. Jihadism is not an option. Change your policies before it is too late. |

The American's will back off when one of their own people will get hurt or be killed by these people. I am not saying "IF" but "WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN". |

You are correct there ni84. The Americans will also react against the MILF if their troops are attacked in the field in Maguindanao. US rules of engagement are similar to our own ground troops. They will defend themselves against attack. The abu-sayaff are allies of the MILF warlord group. They have kidnapped Americans before. Jihadists hate Americans. There were sightings of foreign jihadist elements in MILF controlled areas. My point is why is the US pushing for peace in Mindanao when they have plenty of intelligence information on the MILF? The enemy of my friend is also my enemy.... as the saying goes. We are military allies therefore, the enemy of the AFP is also the enemy of the USA. One thing is for sure, the Americans will support the AFP because of mutual defence. |

That has been the point of Cong. Ron Paul Representative of the State of Texas, that the US has constantly interfere and mingle in the affairs of other nations which would lead to unnecessary lost of life of US citizens. His term is "BLOW BACK" towards the US eventually. |
