Back to the wikileaks secret report... I wonder if Murad was able to succeed in capturing terrorist abu-sayaff for the Americans involved in the deal? What other perks were given to Murad and the MILF? A 50 percent probability to succeed is not good odds. U.S. President Obama should investigate the U.S. officials involved. If money changed hands to whom was it given? |

Murad may have played along with the U.S. officials in the deal. If he double crossed both Jihadist groups and the U.S. we will never know. But one thing is for sure, if he caused the hunting of his abu-sayaff allies in Mindanao and they learn about it.... He and the MILF leadership might be targetted by them. A split and in-fighting may happen if this is true. |

I am just scared that their dream will become a reality with US support. I just do not want to leave our home, friends, family and my pets if this will go ahead. |

Don't worry ni84. The Philippine Star published an expose' editorial using wikileaks secret revelations of U.S. support. The moment this news breaks there will be a chain-reaction here and abroad. U.S. Policy is created by human beings and sometimes is lopsided and defective because of erroneous policy building. The new Obama administration must be enlightened by all stakeholders as to the implications of allowing an MILF Pan Islamic State. |
