PN neeeds ASW and gunfire support simulators

According to an officer, the PN have no ASW and gunfire support simulators since the 1980s. they need them to keep up to date with naval developments. For now, the PN enlistees use the old ships in the cavite naval shipyard for practice. pordoy talaga

Where's the news report link about that, sir? They can use BRP Rajah Humabon for gunfire support training since it's an all-gun warship once the PN retires it. Your news about the need for ASW simulators make me think, will they arm the BRP Gregorio Del Pilar with ASW weapons? It was proven on the USCGC Mellon that a Hamilton class cutter is capable of anti-submarine warfare.
