dapat lang naman siguro, karamihan naman ng mga yan mga incompetent at corrupt, walang karapatan ma promote o magkapuesto kung di dahil kay arroyo.  :headbang:

Just because you are promoted by a previous President perceived as corrupt that you are incompetent?

Look at Biazon and Ramos to name a few they were promoted by Marcos our most corrupt President. Are they incompetent? Do not ever disgrace the Armed Forces with that kind of comment. This man surrendered their easy life in exchange for a life of hardship to serve our Country.

IF you cannot be even civil nor logical of your comment I suggest you Shut Up. That comment was uncalled for. I presume though you are a Civilian and yet you do not appreciate that because of this men you can sleep soundly at night.

di mo nakuha a , di ko naman nilahat sa military a

what I mean were military officers who are corrupt & incompetent who got promoted during and after their serive bec they were Arroyo lapdogs. These were the kind of officers that Trillanes, Col. Querubin, Gen. Lim et al protested against.

kuha mo na?

You are accusing the men in uniform without even a figment of evidence. What you are doing is demoralizing the men. You are even thinking that Trillanes et. al. are worth emulating when they are the ones who must be shamed for disobeying the chain of command.

They have initiated a Coup de etat for crying out load. That is one of the greatest disgrace a soldier could ever do rise up in arms to the Civilian Government.

Enemy at the Gates? lol

No offense but, until now there are Trillanes haters pa pla hanggang ngayon?
Where should be the loyalty of soldiers be placed, to the president no matter how corrupt, or to the flag and people? As far as I can remember the things put-up by Trillanes and fellow Magdalo members (pabaon system, the selling of arms to rebels and warlords, lack of equipment and ammunition, etc.) are already proven to be true.

Let me ask you this, if you are in the shoes of former Lt. Trillanes and you see everyday in AFP the rampant corruption that have been killing our fellow troops (because they lack the needed equipment, ammunition whenever they go to battle against insurgents, while the corrupt generals and officers enjoy profits from selling these needed equipment and ammunition to the warlords like Ampatuan.), would you still remain silent?

If a corrupt general asked you to deliver the money (pabaon in the brown envelop) to another corrupt general, will you still obey it just for the sake of not disobeying an order?

Ilan na ba ang namatay na sugatang kasundaluhan sa kahihintay ng rescue chopper na hindi dumating, sir Tronco?

Well said, C.C.

I was a military man once upon a time, I've experienced disappointments because I only follow lawful orders. However, I used the front door as my exit. I was able to bid goodbye to the service with honour.

A destiny of one soldier is not the destiny of all. In the military you have to face the
good, the not so good, the bad and the very bad.

The acts of former Lt. Trillanes (now Senator) et. al are the consequences of corrupt governance and the rotting image of the military who were used to cheat an election to rob the people's will to get rid of the corrupt leadership. These men are the few in the military that really displayed as the protector of the people's constitutional guarantee. They deserved an accolade for putting their lives and livelihood on the line in the name of freedom and democracy.

These are needed tremors to refine the system.

If not for them the unabated corruption in the military could not have been stopped or controlled.

If the system in the military will show signs of corruption and the civilian gov't cannot stop it, GIVE THEM ALL A GOOD SHOCK!

Don't mind about the so called grievance mechanism. You know who runs it and what happens there.

Best option is to bring it to public's attention.

If you don't you might end up like Ensign Philip Pestano or those murdered in their desire to silence you. Coming out in the open will help you protect your own life.

Fight for the truth and come out alive and winning like Senator Trillanes.

The Filipino people is behind you. :salute:

Navy committee set to present results of probe on colonel in anti-gov’t video

Quote:

The special investigating committee (SIC) tasked to conduct an inquiry on the case of a Marine colonel who posted a video on the Internet calling for the ouster of the government will submit its recommendation to the Navy flag officer in command (FOIC) on Tuesday after its deliberations on the issue.

In a text message sent to members of the media, Navy spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Omar Tonsay said the SIC convened on Tuesday at 9 a.m. and that deliberations ended at 1:30 p.m.

The committee conducted an inquiry on the video posted by retiring Navy Colonel Generoso Mariano last month wherein the disgruntled military official expressed his disappointment with the military institution and the Aquino government.

Navy orders filing of raps vs Marine colonel

08/15/2011 | 12:05 PM

Quote:

The Philippine Navy has ordered the filing of charges against a retired Marine officer who was earlier restricted to quarters for calling for a change in government last month.

Col. Generoso Mariano, who retired from the service on July 17, will be undergoing pretrial investigation for allegedly violating Articles of War 63 [disrespect towards the President]; AW 91 [provoking speeches] and AW 96 [conduct unbecoming of an officer and a gentleman].

Navy spokesman Lt. Col. Omar Tonsay said there was no "sufficient evidence" to charge Mariano of violating AW 67 [mutiny].
