Those islands are an integral part of our sovereignty since time immemorial.
It was only when Marcos wrongly claim it. What should have been done was
to boost the security and to re-asset the territorial boundaries under
the existing territorial latitude. Because Marcos initiated his ill-advised claims
it opened China's dishonest notion that it was a "no man's land" ans so with
the other claimants.

Its really useless posting maps., Vietnam also has maps much older than your maps, China has maps much much older than your maps.

China has a long history as a civilization and has been exploring the area much ahead of other civilizations. Chinese explorers, traders and fishermen have been resting and provisioning in Philippine islands long before there was even a civilization in that country when these Chinese seafarers report that what little people they encounter are nothing but wild, almost naked nomads.

China could have claimed the entire archipelago there and then if only it was that time a greedy imperialist like Spain & Portugal.

Magellan was actually centuries late in discovering your country, and look what happened, the Spanish colonized you and you Filipinos suffered terribly under their rule, to be followed by the Americans who did the same.

Do you think that Mongolia has more claims also in most of China now? Since history stated and in record that Mongolia has LORD over your lands as well... then give Mongolia back its territories as well and pullout the Chinese occupation of Tibet. Even the Chosin Empire which is now Korea can claim your land reaching to Manchuria.

But sorry to tell you, our President announced that never will our country be Bullied by China and the likes of you. So stay off from our Maritime Territories especially in Reed Bank and Scarborough Shoal as this is clearly part of Philippines. We will keep on modernizing our Defense capability and later we will kick your Structures in Mischief reef.

As i have said, No other nations in the world recognize your Stupid Claim. US and Australia is now on our side coz we know they are good trading partners for Oil Exploration for the benefit of this country... Just wait and we will ask Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Brunei and Indonesia to rally behind us coz they too believe that your Bullying Tactics and Stealing our Territories is not Acceptable in the United Nations. Next we will ask them to strip China of its VETO power....

Our country has plans on how to sink your precious SHI LANG and let your Billions of Yuan go down the beds of the Ocean.

You are very off topic dude. The issue being argued is the Spratlys, not MOngolia, Tibet etc.

THe support expressed by Australia, etc. is not about recognition but support for peaceful, non-aggressive resolution of the dispute, not like australia said "We recognize the Philippines and only the Philippines is the legal owner of the Spratlys."

Do not be too dramatic and talking of destructing the Shi Lang is very arrogant and counterproductive. :nono:

If the contested island belongs to China or whoever, under international law
owned it, there could have been a nasty confrontation because China will
drive out the Philippine contingency securing the contested islands. Unless one can
expertly authenticate the maps they have presented was ahead of time, maybe
a minute of a doubt can be pondered in favor of China. If that was theirs, why is it that up to this point in time China or whoever did'nt lodge a complaint before
the International Court of Justice or the UN to drive us out there and plant their
own flag there instead of the Philippine flag ?

Bec China doesn't want violence and aggression.

China can very well easily eject occupiers of its claimed islands but it does not want to be a pariah in the eyes of international community.

There is even apprehension in China that what if the very ancient Rajah Humabon will just sink on its own while in the SCS due to accident or structural failure and yet the Ph government will blame China of sinking it, thats why China has not deployed armed PLAN ship anywhere near where the Humabon is going.

That rhetorics that China doe'snt want aggression is just too superficial for even a layman to believe. Where on earth can you find a country who will just only pose as
a spectator when their sovereign territory is breached ?

The UN is not a damn hopeless to determine on whether a vessel sank by natural causes or sabotge that China will adhere to this "what ifs" conjectures.

As you can understand the Spratslys is claimed by many, China going to war with these countries is unthinkable as of the moment, it will cause much damage to China's economy thats why Chinese cant understand all these warmongering talk and violent rhetoric when it has not even fired a single shot to take over an occupied island.

China prefers peaceful resolution thats why it discourages claimant countries from sending heavily armed warships to the area like what this deployment of the Humabon is.

As I have said, the Philippines is not a claimant of these territories. It is the sovereign territory of the Republic of the Philippines. You cannot claim your own territory but you have to defend it. It has it's inherent right under international law to maintain its security. The claimants are the ones who should not breach even an inch to intrude. It is laudable for China to say that they want to settle the matter in
a peaceful manner, and this has to be done by the institution of a formal claim and
complaint about the presence of the Philippine security contingent in the islands, if they can prove that the Philippines is a squatter on their sovereign territory before the International Court of Justice or UN, so that the latter, will resolve it and eject the Philippine contingency from the island - this way no violent confrontation can be involved.

As I have said, the Philippines is not a claimant of these territories. It is the sovereign territory of the Republic of the Philippines.

As you say so only problem is no other country has recognized your sovereign territory. Brunei, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, even Taiwan also claim its their sovereign territory.

China wants bilateral talks with all claimants and multilateral talks with ASEAN and other organizations interested in a peaceful resolution of the issue.
