For sure this Chinese maritime patrol ship won't be alone, might be escorted by Medium size Submarine and they know that we don't have the capabilities to detect their Subs, that's more dangerous for our PN ships...

Let's not forget the Cheonan incident in Korean Peninsula!!!
Only thing they have to do is DENY IT, which their very good at.....

another comedic speculation, ignorant too ...waters in Spratlys very shallow, not ideal for submarine operations.

absolutely no connection with Cheonan incident LOL..that was between the Koreas unrelated to Spratlys issue.

I'm just saying something like the Cheonan incident can happen... didn't say that they are connected! I didn't say specifically that their Subs can go with them in Spratly, but they can still provide support at a distance without entering shallow waters...

According to reports from Wikipedia :dunno:
"It was reported in 2004 that her fore Hedgehog ASW is still operational, together with her 8 K-gun Mk6 depth charge projectors and SQS-17B sonar."  Any truth to this one?

Your source is wikipedia? No wonder...

That's why i put a :dunno: and asking anybody if they can provide info regarding this report...

that's why its not good to speculate mr. avb, there are just too many variables for you to accurately present a valid argument :armywink:

Whether true or not, such info can be considered OPSEC, so I suggest you better leave it hanging.

Better you people educate yourselves first before issuing such irresponsible speculations.  :armycheers:

That's why I used the words "might be escorted" which can be possible...

Better for you to EDUCATE yourself on how people here post and respects each others opinions, but feel free to contest your points in a responsible and respectful manner...

Do I know you? Your thoughts in General reminds me of someone who use to post here w/ same kind of style...

but then you should not have added "that's dangerous for PN ships" bec this is where a speculation of China's aggression was implied by you :armywink:

"That's dangerous" meaning considering the PN's zero ASW capability!

You should try and go back to where you originally came from where your kind of arguments will be worth while ok there's no room for that kind of attitude here...

Let's drop it go :btt:

You are not the moderator or forum owner for you decide whether my actions here warrant my leaving this forum.

No room for my attitude of simply correcting your unwarranted speculations yet how about your attitude of simply dismissing people who disagrees with you LOL.. I notice this is your defensive mechanism when you cannot refute an argument.

I told you already shallow arguments like this one doesn't have a place here sorry..
Yes I'm not a Moderator nor I don't need to be one just remind you that there are other ways to argue things but not like the way you do it... It's just the manner on how you execute your arguments and analyse certain posts without even thinking outside the box before making comments... Also made me think that either your just slow or you are not FILIPINO! right?
