The Rajah Humabon needs to be decommissioned. It's a floating coffin and with a realistic speed of only 10 knots rather useless. |

"THE BEST PARENT AND GUARDIAN OF LIBERTY AMONGST MEN IS TRUTH" ~ Pope Leo XIII, Immortale Dei “When learned men begin to use their reason, then I generally discover that they haven’t got any.” - G. K. Chesterton MSantor is not a man of sound reason. Savages have always preferred the club for they know that they are powerless against the pen. But who is the greater fool - the savage or the one that gives him power? May Truth rebuke you. | |

exactly, the Humabon should soon be displayed as a tourist site like, at the south harbor. Its kind of waste of money and resources to invest with new weapons system in it. Our military planners should wake up and stop living in denial. This ship has to go soon. Imagine if there will be confrontation with China in near future and they sank the Humabon then that will be in CNN and everybody will be laughing at our Navy which is true anyway. This just will show the inept of our government. There is already a real external threat and they are still trying to constraint the defense budget. Again had these modernization done and started 10 years ago it would not take this cost now with the inflation included plus we would have some of our assets upgraded and at least keep China and others think twice before harrassing our fishermen and forces. This was same with the PAF with the F5s flying without radars, just the machineguns and dummy bombs that they need to dive to hit a target. its very frustrating. nothing seems to work for us, we are all just dreaming and wishing for the best. Nakakahiya talaga maging pilipino, wala tayo ibubuga. |

I don't think anyone with civilized mind would laugh to what will happened to PF-11 if it sunk fighting against Aggression. Our soldiers won't surrender even if it were ODDs is against them and they will go down fighting. Never say die. Only Chinese and its sympathizers would do that and some NO GOOD fellow countrymen who wants their souls & dignity sold to the Devil Chinese communists just to gain something for themselves. I would grief, pray for the lost souls who sacrifice their lives in the name of our Motherland and its people. Criticize the politicians who didn't support the modernization of our Navy and Air Force for their insensitivity to the real situation and to the AFP officials who thinks that Modernizaton isn't a Priority coz we have no known enemy neighbors. Even Singapore, as we know has no known enemies coz of their economic status and yet they are investing wisely on Modernization of their Navy, Army and Air Force. Yet we are wrong coz Malaysia has disputes with Singapore over their EEZ as well and ex-Malaysian PM even tried to step foot on the disputed islet found in Singaporean EEZ waters. |
