Mr Zwahzhal

1.) is this jet fghter purchase separate from the jet/prop trainer purchase ???

2.) Does this mean the purchase of jet fighters was accelerated ???

3.) whats the timetable(this year or next year?) and whats the jet fighter specs ??

Thanks !!!!

Preferred jet fighter specs have already been completed and just awaiting for the release of the budget. Government-to-government acquisition will be performed. Commercial issues will allow them to bid and cost will be throught FMS.

Whichever it is, what we need are the tools to protect the sovereignty of this nation. :salute:

1. Yes
2. In what acceleration do you mean?
3. See previous blogs in other topics. Can't disclose in clear view but it's bold and beneficial. We're awaiting for the funds.

Gentlemen, a colleague/mate, who had a relationship w/ PLAAF men, provided me the image, taken sometime 1993's...being used for the reverse engineering, specifically the for the JF-17. Further, to study technology of foe "India". They may have completed the project and duplicated it. This was a Fulcrum-A bought as a surplus, from undisclosed country. This AC, may have also been put into service for whatever purpose. Nevertheless, we are still awaiting confirmation of what AC. Um...how can I post image here? Everyone needs to see it

Pachador, that is what hurts most... Study was complete, recommendations were submitted and approved. We are awaiting funds. But we are on track, just waiting for the dogs to release the funds.

guys

lets not lean too hard on the PAF pilots. the important thing is that 2 jets buzzed our OV-10s. it does not matter what country for now. what matters is that there was an intrusion and that we need to accelerate the jet fighter timetable purchase sooner.

So please do your part , go into action !!!. please email our congressmen and senators and tell them nicely to pass budget purchasing jet fighters , naval ships, submarines , artillery, missiles go here and email them nicely that if they release the money to help the AFP purchases, you will vote for them:
Senators:

Congressmen:

Please pass this on to your friends and relatives.

These reports really are misleading.... If they say the SU-27 buzzed them at 4,000ft and they were at 1,000ft and didn't fly along side them like Bugging them out.. and just went past through them (Flyby), then we cannot call it "Harassment," but "Intrusion" of our Airspace... Regardless it's still a violation of our Sovereignty. :nono: :armyfrown:

Best thing to do is just to carry on with the Reconn mission to show them that were not afraid of them, especially if we know that we are well within our Airspace.

There should be a PN Ship stationed nearby the Reed Bank areas , especially during air reconns like this to provide support for Air defense.

Which PN ship are you talking about that can provide support for air defense...

PN's (PS-36-37) Jacinto Class using the M242 Bushmaster!

OV-10s have to lure them to go down 4,000-7,000 ft...

Although SU-27s can track multiple targets at the same time, still it will depend on PN,PAF plans on how to attack like a diamond position where the target is in the middle. It's like two jacintos separated like E to W OV-10s pass by coming from S to N then split break, SU following the OVs flyby in the middle then boom x3! :sniper:

Might work against (1) stupid SU-27 thats if it doesn't scan and track them first..LOl!
It's a SUICIDE really.. :scared:

Nicely executed plan AVB! but this can only work on "turbo prop" not on "turbo fan or Jet" engines. :ssalute:

Indeed! Sir TS, There's no other way but to beef up!

I'm just concern about the Press error on reports of MiG-29s instead of SU-27s which is what the Chinese have on their inventory, the PAF should correct these statements from the Press at the same time AFP/PAF Personnels as well.

the worst is having a meeting w/ the Chinese Minister and opening this issue with incorrect reports which will be embarrassing and stupid on the PH Govt.

WE DON'T WANT TO GIVE THEM A REASON TO CLEARLY DENY THIS INCIDENT.. like them saying "That's not one of ours, we don't have MiG-29s!"

Reports should be precise especially for the Military.

Two unidentified aircraft seen over Spratlys — AFP

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Saturday confirmed that two unidentified jet aircraft were flying over the disputed Spratly Islands in the South China Sea Wednesday.

“The Armed Forces of the Philippines is the protector of the people and the state. Our role to secure the sovereignty of the state and the integrity of the national territory continues," AFP chief Gen. Eduardo S.L. Oban Jr. said in a statement.

Equipment acquisition is imperative at this point in time. It may cost a lot of money but the Philippines cannot afford to remain an idle spectator in a region that is increasingly gearing itself towards a modern and better defense capability," he said. — JE, GMA

Address Spratly Island to KALAYAAN ISLANDS, South China Sea to WESTERN PHILIPPINE SEA or Kanlurang Dagat ng Pilipinas.

Su-27 Flankers from Hainan Island.

hainan province is far away its like a B-17 can travel from there to Reed Bank at the exact range. Damn, they've got long range jets.
We have to vote for militarists to implement the AFP Modernization FAST!
If you don't want a modern and capable AFP, you might want to get the f*ck off the Philippines because you don't deserve to be a Filipino that's why!
