Hello Sir, Long time no hear sa iyo! Yup I know, so depressing nkaka high blood! They should know what or which kind to acquire, considering problem started since 2005... If I Remember it right, P.Noy even released a budget to refurbish the S-211s right after he assumed office as President, so What happened??? Only thing we get are promises and press releases with less action... Really hope they should, yes it's very longed overdue and the most needed it should be on top of the priority lists before PN.

Yes, the S-211 crashed because of mechanical trouble but it was the Martin Baker ejection seats that FAILED to save the lives of the 2 pilots due to lack of proper maintenance...

I WONDER where is that funds now? Hopefully no one is on a lavish vacation or spending spree with it...($3 Million Dollars) P130 Million will buy at least 5 very nice houses in the US, is history about to repeat itself...

unless we Filipinos don't get our act together nothing is going to happen. Just for example, there are reports that the 2 pilots of the S211 crash were not able to eject because the ejection seat malfunctioned due to lack of maintenance of the ejection set. this is probably true. Acquiring new and more assets is one thing. Keeping them good daily maintenance so they will work when needed is another. So if we will keep on being lazy then we are not going no where in the 21st century and in addition the aircraft might be poorly maintained too thats why it crashed. |
