Senior Supt. David Lacdan, Baguio police director, said Philippine Air Force Lt. Col. Ferdinand Macasaet, 43, was attacked by a man wearing a ski mask and black shirt, as the official was driving his Mitsubishi Montero inside Pinesville Subdivision. The subdivision is just outside Fort del Pilar, the PMA’s base. Chief Supt. Villamor Bumanglag, Cordillera police director, said Macasaet died while being taken to the PMA Station Hospital. Bumanglag and Lacdan could not provide other details in the attack, saying police were still investigating the murder. PMA officials had yet to release an official statement about the murder at 8:30 p.m. The Inquirer tried to reach PMA officials and the academy’s public information officer on Thursday night but they did not take calls or answer text messages sent to their mobile phones. ............... ano kaya motibo?
