natawa ako dito. this is kinda odd news if true. PNP probing ‘Malaysian cop’ by Alfred Dalizon Monday, 10 January 2011 journal CAMP Crame yesterday said it is looking into an allegation by an anti-crime watchdog official that a Malaysian managed to fraudulently enter the 130,000-strong police force. Teresita Ang-See told a radio interview that she learned about the presence of the unnamed Malaysian becoming a PNP member when she was still the executive chairman of the Manila People’s Law Enforcement Board. “We were able to confirm that he was a holder of a Malaysian passport but he became a policeman,’” Ang-See said. She said she could not anymore remember the name of the Malaysian. Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Supt. Agrimero A. Cruz, Jr. said they are checking the information given by Ang-See. “Our Directorate for Personnel and Records Management is checking the roster of the 17 police regional offices and the different national operational and administrative support units to find out if a Malaysian really was able to enter the PNP service,” Cruz said. |

It's not a big deal if the alleged Malaysian holds a Philippine citizenship or what ever circumstances that qualifies him to join the PNP, otherwise, he had manipulated to join through fraudulent means for an ulterior motive incompatible with national security. |

I was thinking that one possible way this can happen is with those Tausog refugees frin Sulu who were given malaysian citizenship when they fled to malaysia in the 1970s/1980s. its possible some of them were MNLF members who came back after the MNLF-Government agreement in the 1990s wherein 7.500 MNLF members were integrated into the AFP and PNP Otherwise, if he was born a malaysian to malaysian parents with no prior philippine connection in the malaysian mainland , this would indeed be an interesting story - a defector ? a double or triple agent ?
