So, I was reading a piece on our NAVSOG in wikipedia a couple of months back and I found out that our navy has a Special Reaction Group which is, as stated on the site is
the "The Filipino counterpart of the U.S. counterterrorist United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) is the Special Reaction Group (SRG), which operates under the direction of Naval Intelligence". I looked at the source of that statement and it came from http://www.shadowspear.com/philippines-spe...fare-group.html which in turn links to http://www.navy.mil.ph/philflt1.html. Unfortunately the navy site is down so I cant see if it's true.

So, is it true that we have our very own DEVGRU? or am I not allowed to know anything about since its uber classified? ANY info is greatly appreciated.

And umm, if this topic has already been discussed, I'm sorry but the search feature on top dosen't work. :aberet:

wiki is wrong , as usual.. the PN DEVGRU is not the counterpart of the US DEVGRU - our DEVGRU trains the American DEVGRU. :armywink:
