PCG Commandant Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo formally signed the appointment papers of long time CGSOG Deputy Commander Lieutenant Commander Marco Antonio Gines as the head of the said Coast Guard elite force. Gines, a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Mabikas class ’96 first assumed the post of acting CGSOG chief last March replacing Capt. Alfredo Santos.
