Well that's my point... The Philippines will not be waging war against any modern navies so there should be no competition about using expensive real anti-ship missiles vs. cheaper anti-tank missiles aboard PN warships.

its pointless thats why no navy in the world has actually installed hellfire or spike on their ships.

useless also versus pirates because our ships already have guns that outrange these missiles.

Incorrect... Have you read page 1 of this thread? There are foreign navies that installed anti-tank missiles as alternatives to anti-ship missiles aboard naval vessels.

The AGM-114N Hellfire II was designed/modified for Navy use.

Which travels faster and which is more destructive? a gun shell or a missile vs. a fast pirate ship?
