PMA camp yields body of John Doe By DEXTER A. SEE June 1, 2010, 4:38pm FORT DEL PILAR, Baguio City — The decomposing body of a man that bore signs of a violent death was found hanging at the side of a ravine within the premises of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), here, the other day, police said. Scene of the Crime Operatives (SoCO) said they were in the process of determining whether or not the “John Doe,” found hanging by the branches of a tree on Monday afternoon, is that of a PMA cadet reported missing last March. Based on its initial examination, the SoCO team noted that the cadaver had been there for a long time and, as such, may be that of the cadet listed as missing in local police files. But PMA authorities denied that any of its cadets have been missing. Senior Superintendent Roberto Quinto Soriano, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), underscored that the investigation is still ongoing. Soriano appealed to those with missing relatives in the city to coordinate with police and find out whether or not the cadaver recovered in the PMA premises is the one they are looking for. http://www.mb.com.ph/articles/260103/pma-c...s-body-john-doe |

How could they not reconcile between the facts that a cadet was missing last march and the facts denied by an official of the PMA if the former fact has a missing person's record that can ascertain who was missing and from where he was ? |
