Hey! Guys I just want to know about your thoughts regarding this Helicopter! This is the Agusta-Westland AW139 for me this is the best choice for the PAF's Combat Utility Helicopter replacement of the UH-1H Huey Helicopters.. The AgustaWestland AW139 is a 15-seat medium sized twin-engined helicopter manufactured by AgustaWestland. Originally designed and developed jointly by Agusta and Bell Helicopters and marketed as the Agusta-Bell AB139, it renamed the AW139 when Bell withdrew from the project. The AW139 is a conventional twin-engined transport helicopter with a 5-blade fully articulated main rotor and a 4-blade tail rotor and a retractable landing gear. The AW139 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6C turboshaft engines. The helicopter is being marketed for use in a number of roles including Law Enforcement/Emergency Medical Service, Executive Transport, Search and Rescue, Maritime and Offshore Oil Operations. General characteristics Crew: 1 Capacity: 15 passengers Length: 13.77 m (45 ft 2 in) Main rotor diameter: × 13.8 m (45 ft 3 in) Width: 2.26 m (7 ft 5 in) Height: 3.72 m (12 ft 2 in) Empty weight: 3622 kg (7985 lb) Gross weight: 6400 kg (14110 lb) Powerplant: 2 × Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6C-67C free turbine turboshaft engine, 1142 kW (1531 hp) each Performance Maximum speed: 310 km/h (193 mph) Range: 1061 km (573 miles) Service ceiling: 6098 m (20,000 ft) Rate of climb: 10.9 m/s (2140 ft/min) So.. The W-3 Sokół ('Falcon') is the first helicopter to be fully designed and serial-built in Poland, and is PZL's most promising sales prospect in the near future. Work on the project was started at WSK PZL Świdnik in 1973 by the team of Stanisław Kamiński. The Sokół made its first flight on November 16, 1979, and has since been certificated in Poland, Russia, the US and Germany. Following a fairly protracted development program, low rate production of the Sokół commenced during 1985. Initial sales of the general purpose Sokół were within Poland and in the Eastern Bloc, before the collapse of Communism allowed PZL Swidnik to broaden its sales base. To do this PZL Swidnik developed the improved W3A Sokół aimed at achieving Western certification. Certification to US FAR Pt 29 standards was granted in May 1993, while German certification was granted in December of that year. The Sokół is of conventional design and construction, with two PZL-10W turboshafts, which are based on the PZL-10S - licensed Russian designed TVD-10B turboprops that power the Polish-built An-28. Composites are used in the three-bladed tail and four-bladed main rotors. The Sokół is offered in a number of variants and is capable of performing a typical range of helicopter missions, including passenger transport, VIP, cargo, EMS, medevac, firefighting and search and rescue. The 100th Sokół was completed in June 1996. The PZL W-3T This Polish built Helicopter could very well fit the Phil Air Force budget..
