Aurora native 1st Class Cadet Karl Winston Cacanindin led the graduating class's top ten cadets, who were formally introduced to the media in a press conference at the PMA on Wednesday. Cacanindin, who will graduate Magna Cum Laude and will soon join the Philippine Air Force, said he is very thankful for having the honor of being the class topnocher. Cacanindin, the son of a former PMA official, will also receive the Presidential Saber, the Athletic Saber, President Gloria M. Arroyo Achievement Award for Academic Excellence, and the Mathematics plaque. He said that his achievement was brought by hard work, a sentiment echoed by his fellow top ten cadets. He is followed by 1st Class Cadet Lemuel Manicdo, Philippine Army; 1st Class Cadet Roger Flores, Philippine Navy; 1st Class Cadet Nelson Liwanag, Philippine Navy; 1st Class Cadet Larry Mayao, Philippine Army; 1st Class Cadet Erick Ryan Mabborang, Philippine Army; 1st Class Cadet Carlito Santiago, Philippine Army; 1st Class Cadet Glenn de Ramos, Philippine Army; 1st Class Cadette Cynthia Forteza, Philippine Airforce; and 1st Class Cadet Christopher Ian Dupalco, Philippine Airforce. amateur sewer cleaner Posts: 3,124 Group: Elite Member #87 Joined: August 19, 2004	why is it that almost all the topnotchers go to the air force? would it not be beneficial to the AFP if the other brilliant graduates are distributed to the army and navy as well?

Since the PMA is now using a tr-service curriculum, perhaps, it's just by coincindence that the top fradute has chosen to be with the PAF.

Trainee Posts: 53 Group: Regulars Member #2,742 Joined: July 11, 2007	It was pointed out to me by a friend that in the AFP photo of the three services the Army is depicted fighting the enemy, the Navy with their boats but the Air Force guy are pictured in the pool side..
