A Sniper man Is one who is armed with the world's most deadliest rifle ever issued to him so Him and the Sniper weapon are one as a Deadly Team for any Soldier to confront.. But Hey! How can an ordinary Soldier confront a Sniper where is the Soldier can't even quickly enough to spot the Sniper who had already pulled His trigger! So there it Is the Famous words of a Sniper.. "One Shot! One Kill!" for a day that is.. Anyway here's the Sniper Rifle I think the Philippine Army Special Forces Group and the Phil Marine Force Recon Battalion should acquire and have in thier hands and arms for it is said "A Sniper's Rifle Is a Sniper's Best Friend." the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle..

Do not believe all the hype.

I have shot this rifle in 2007 at the KMC plant in Titusville, Florida. Although I shot a respectable group (one called flier), the AR 10 and DPMS equivalent 308 rifles custom accurized by well known rifle smiths can do better at a much lower cost.

Other entrants to the SASS program supply competition of the US Army filed a protest when KMC was announced the winner. Personally, I liked the Remington/DPMS entry better.

The role provided by this rifle is more of that of a DMR rather than a Sniper rifle in spite of the nomenclature.

For DM purposes, an accurized M14 would be more suitable for the PA's needs....it is also more robust in the field.

Mas maganda pa, for me, ay i-accurize ang mga Steyr AUGs o FAMAS natin and equip them with a long barrel. Then equip it with a M4/M16 magazine adapter and a good scope. But, as the one pictured above is chamber for the 7.62mm round I guess its a toss between the accurized M14 o this one for us - hmmm, hindi ba na-test na ito by the AFP?

Never been a fan of bipods.

Pero kung warlord lang ako like the Ampatuans I'd get the WA2000 kahit magkano pa yun sa market ngayon (what better way to use taxpayer's money on) and as hindi naman ako masama ay i-donate ko some of those to the special forces syempre with lots of ammo. Yun iba syempre sa akin na yun as warlord nga ako.

Command is about authority, about appointment to a position. Effective leadership is different. It must be learned and practiced in order for it to rise to the level of art. You must love those you lead before you can be an effective leader. You can certainly command without that sense of commitment but you cannot lead without it; and without leadership, command is a hollow experience. .. a vacuum often filled with mistrust and ignorance.

The M110 Sniper Rifle may be chambered for the 7.62mm Bullet Round but then again it is just another M16 series Rifle designed by Eugene Stoner and produced by Arma-Lite USA then under licensed by Colt.. We should start thinking of producing our own arms of products proudly made in the Philippines.. Especially what I propose a PAR68 Assault Rifle Or Bullpup Rifle of the AFP with it build by the best Technology can be produce..

I was just wondering if the M1 Garand Conversion of Floro International Corporation can be use as a sniper rifle.

Sako TRG M10 user configurable multi caliber Sniper modular system

TRG M10: In October 2011 Sako unveiled the Sako TRG M10 Sniper Weapon System. The TRG M10 was designed as a user configurable multi caliber modular system and does not share its receiver and other technical features with the Sako TRG line. By changing bolts, magazines, fore ends and barrels in the field, the TRG M10 system can be switched between .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum and .338 Lapua Magnum chamberings and adapted to various requirements. At the introduction, the TRG M10 is marketed for "military and law enforcement only."
