cadet applicants should still be minimum of 5'4", the new minimum height probably applies to the MOS mentioned in the article.

bad idea, it will only cause discrimination if the 5 ft height requirement is applicable only to carpenters, technicians, etc. who want to join the AFP.

this should be an equal opportunity requirement across the AFP services and all ranks, including PMA applicants - uniform minimum 5 ft height.

yep, I stopped watching too when Gerald Anderson who is supposed to be Air Force joined Jake Cuenca's Army unit in a ground operation against insurgents

I think it's possible, there are units of the PAF that are engaged in ground combat like the SPOW. I just forgot the name of the other units that are under OPCON of Army infantry brigades.

...could be if Anderson's character is portraying a SPOW officer but the series has him undergoing pilot training at PAFFS.
