Not at this time Zero Wing. The PAF can't even maintain the current fleet of S211 up in the air. Currently they have 4 active while the rest are garaged needing spare parts and attention.

Despite the a strong peso and growing economy, I doubt if the PAF will be able to make their own planes not until corruption and politics have been checked thoroughly.

Yes, very possible provided hindi siya sobrang high-tech and for light duties lang. Let's say like that helicopter to be used for training pilots in the navy o mga light planes for messenger and recon work. Its just like building a car. Yun mga guages and controls gawin nating old school kaya steam guages pa rin ang dating. Engine pwede naman bumili na lang ng brand new or reconditioned kaya ang labas parang jeepneys natin. The problem would be ay beyond such hindi natin mapakinabangan talaga ang mga ito lalo na kapag malakas ang bagyo. Halos for daylight and clear weather lang tapos short range pa - with night vision equipment at compatible yun guages baka pwede for clear night operations. For jet engined aircraft pwede pa rin naman i-dust off lang yun lumang plans na nabili natin from the US tapos have all aviation oriented schools to help.

I opine na dapat maghanap na nga ng kapalit sa mga S211. Luma na yun mga natitira at kakaunti pa. Ano yun, one for each major island with one in reserve?
Command is about authority, about appointment to a position. Effective leadership is different. It must be learned and practiced in order for it to rise to the level of art. You must love those you lead before you can be an effective leader. You can certainly command without that sense of commitment but you cannot lead without it; and without leadership, command is a hollow experience. .. a vacuum often filled with mistrust and ignorance.

Yes we can, build now forget later parang Defiant 300, Hummingbird. IF we get our act together as mentioned we might be abel to produce our own aircraft and keep the production going for our needs and possibly to export. Africa and other poor countries would be interested.

Binili nga Jeep natin ng isang african nation, maraming conflict sa kanila, cheap operational they just might buy our aircraft.

of course we can but the question of feasibility and timing is the main culprit. Our buget for SDRP or research for military stuff development, if any is very low. Skill?hell yeah, filipino aircraft techs are all around the world building planes.but it needs "feasibilty" and "timing" as i said.a robust aeronautic industry would also help propel this venture. even wealthier countries have done it and failed inspite of these, how much more our politically set uped AFP and 3rd world status?

I agree. :thumb: :salute:
