Hello guys .. What I'm about to post is not my design but just want to share it. I was still small when I encountered this kind of ship in a Popular Mechanics magazine and I thought it was cool. Unfortunately I don't have the poster (that was inside the magazine) of the ship on the cover page which shows some schematics so that you'll be able to see the full glory of what this might have been. But anyway, here's the cover page. ![]() For some details, at the end of the ship is a helipad and a barracks (correct term?) for seal teams, green berets, etc you can utilize for special ops since the ship has stealth capabilities also. By the way, the ship is designated as a 'Battlecruiser' ... Nice ne? |

Wow astig kayo huh, sayang di ako experto sa warships, meron akong mga drawings dati so i will try to draw it again and update them with new features. Its funny, meron naman akong 'Battleship-Cruiser' na design, but it can carry a couple of VTOL Fighters, bagay sana iyon sa PN natin kung di tayo makaka-afford ng full-size aircraft-carrier in the future. I also have some submarines and Unmanned Submersible Vehicles like the 'Alimasag'. Ill join u soon pips!

Here's more, my Buwaya Class Amphibious Assault Ship. It's not as big as the US Wasps and Tarawas, but I don't think the Philippines is planning to invade countries thousands of miles away, any time soon. It is however, in my opinion, of sufficient size for operations the AFP might conduct, like some terrorist-controlled island landings, or maybe some Spratly island landings. This one can hold about 12 LAV-300s (6 side by side) and maybe 6 LVTHs (3-side by side). Theres enough space on top for 3-5 helicopters for some air support. Armaments include a couple of 8 cell SAM launchers, 6 AA guns, a couple of single cell SSM launchers, just in case, and a 5in. gun for some shore bombardment capabilities. What you guys think?

Nice mga ideas. Sana magawaan natin ng proper study like on projects para mas mabenta natin sa mga officials natin. Problem lang ay kailangan magawaan rin natin ng classified access or something baka maunahan pa tayo ng ibang bansa :P |

Command is about authority, about appointment to a position. Effective leadership is different. It must be learned and practiced in order for it to rise to the level of art. You must love those you lead before you can be an effective leader. You can certainly command without that sense of commitment but you cannot lead without it; and without leadership, command is a hollow experience. .. a vacuum often filled with mistrust and ignorance. For smaller boats ones with light displacement that need speed and may require some planing attributes, you may want to remove the bulbous bow. You may also want to include some stealth characteristics so that the designs would be more up to date. Just a suggestion. |
