If I may ask sirs, how come the term "laxitibo" became associated with the inability of a cadet to clean his combat boots? The closest translation I can muster is "laxative" which if I'm not mistaken has nothing to do with combat boots.

The meaning given to the word "LAXITIBO" is incorrect. The word is a derivative or it evolve from the word LAX, as in "you are very LAX" which means you are sub-par from the STANDARDS. It then became, through the years, "LAKSITIBO KA". MAGAN - From SON OF A GUN...then SANAMAGAN....to MAGAN. It means STUBBORN or can also mean STRICT. |
