Binay always denies knowledge in the seige.

but maniwala kang hindi alam ni Binay yun.. of course Binay is in it.

it's pretty bizzare that these jokers managed to bring in guns in Makati RTC when guns should have been off limits starting from it's doors.

it's pretty unbelievable these jokers marched in Makati's premiere road for one hour with not even one makati cop in sight?!.

it's pretty amazing he was not there grandstanding and taking advantage of the photo opportunity when all these are happening. pjoto ops wla sya?

ofcourse Binay is in it. the question is is he also a financier?

Trillanes is not that bright at all. That stupid march multiplied his problems by two.
If he's got the deepest of all intelligence, he could have refrained himself from boycotting the court and proceed to that stupid march.

The government's counter-intelligence on him had shown its precision, that he (Trillanes) just easily grab the bait. At this moment in time, the regime is at its lowest in popularity as it was going downhill so rapidly that it needs an iron barrier to quell or stop the ever increasing dissenters and that it should start from the Trillanes issue. From there, the mill of counter-intelligence started to work purposely to induce or lure Trillanes to hatch a coup so that the government can stage a full show of force to crush it as a deterrent.

And now the regime has a double if not tightier grip on Trillanes that he cannot function to join the political exercise in the Senate making him politically inutile.
If he was given a right advice, he could not have done that stupid march. He should have waited the outcome of his case no matter how messy it was.

Now, let's see what's next, or whether we can see a copycat of the Honasan script looming. Maybe Trillanes had in mind that the same oil will be anointed on him.

Arroyo wouldn't 'cross the railway tracks' just like that. You mean she'll take that kind of risk? What if it succeeds. Besides, you have no evidence that it was a bait. Its seems to border on paranoia and delusion. But anyway, if it was true, then the its a case of a 'mischievous good tempting the unrepentant evil'

The military academy of Colombia has captured a FARC rebel who was a plebe. Honasan belongs to a fraternity espousing leftist views. Alpha Sigma is a staunch supporter of the CPP-NPA. Could we categorize Trillanes and Honasan as closet commies who infiltrated PMA? He declared himself once a 'socialist' and a fan of Muammar Khaddafy, a socialist.

An open and resourceful mind appreciates all tacits of probabilities.

Even to the extent of alleged defamation?

Trillanes, rebel officers apologize for walkout
By Michael Punongbayan And James Mananghaya
Wednesday, December 12, 2007

After taking over the Peninsula Manila hotel last Nov. 29 and nearly transforming Makati City’s business district into a battle zone, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV and some rebellious junior military officers sought forgiveness yesterday from a judge for their walkout from a court hearing that jumpstarted the hotel siege.

Trillanes and the others on trial for the failed 2003 Oakwood mutiny apologized yesterday to Judge Oscar Pimentel for walking out of the courtroom unchallenged during a break in the hearing on the coup d’etat charges against them. Pimentel accepted their apology but warned that a repeat of the incident would be dealt with harshly.

“It was never the intention of (the) accused to cause a commotion, much less a walkout,” and that they “meant no disrespect for the court,” the defendants said in a letter to Pimentel.

They said they were “impelled by their passion, zeal and fervor for their cause (and) merely had to act when they did.”

The group of contrite alleged mutineers did not include Marine Capt. Nicanor Faeldon who is at large, and former Scout Rangers chief Brig. Gen. Danilo Lim who was a witness again yesterday for the defense. It would have been Lim’s turn to testify when the walkout took place.

Security was tight at yesterday’s hearing, with roads leading to the Makati City Hall, where most of the city courts are housed, blocked by soldiers and police. Trillanes, Lim, and the other detainees involved in the Peninsula incident were brought in and out of the court in handcuffs. The hearing was closed to the media.

After storming out of the courtroom on Nov. 29, the senator and the soldiers walked to the nearby Peninsula Manila, where they holed up for almost seven hours calling for a “people power” revolt against President Arroyo that never materialized.

A government assault team, aided by teargas and armored vehicles, eventually forced its way into the hotel and arrested Trillanes and his companions, including prominent civilian sympathizers.

Trillanes, who was elected senator in the May 2007 elections, led a group of junior military officers who seized Oakwood Premiere hotel and rigged it with explosives in July 2003. As in the Peninsula takeover, the Oakwood mutineers also called for the ouster of Mrs. Arroyo.

Taking the witness stand for the alleged Oakwood mutineers, Lim said Trillanes and his men felt they had to be armed when they called for Mrs. Arroyo’s resignation because “people who are deaf would tend to listen more” if threatened with weapons.

Assistant Chief State Prosecutor Richard Anthony Fadullon, who heads the prosecution panel, said Lim appeared to have softened further on the rebels when he said that there was no tension or threat of violence during the Oakwood incident.

“He seemed to have softened up when he claimed there was no tension and that it was normal for some people to bring their firearms with them and go to a financial district to air grievances,” Fadullon said.

Lim, through his lawyer, claimed earlier to have been dragged out of the courtroom last Nov. 29 and forced to join the Peninsula siege.

Before the hearing was adjourned, Pimentel issued a warrant of arrest against Faeldon who has a P1-million bounty on his head. Faeldon’s lawyer Trixie Angeles said the warrant may prompt her client to surface.

“We can use the warrant to get him back,” she told reporters, adding that she has had no contact with Faeldon.

There are two major mistakes in that article.
First:
Quote:

"Taking the witness stand for the alleged Oakwood mutineers, Lim said Trillanes and his men felt they had to be armed when they called for Mrs. Arroyo’s resignation because “people who are deaf would tend to listen more” if threatened with weapons."

Gen. Lim stated that the young officers were at the hotel to air grievances. Fadullon pressed him, if if that were so, why the need for firearms? Lim answered, "For soldiers, the arms are part of the uniform" Fadullon pressed further, "High pwered firearms?" After several objections by the defense, the question was allowed and Lim answered, "Sometimes, people who are deaf to issues would listen more." He did not mention the firearms, and did not mention threats. In fact, in his testimony, he stated categorically, that there were no threats. No tension. No intent to use any of the arms.

Second:
Quote:

Faeldon’s lawyer Trixie Angeles said the warrant may prompt her client to surface.

“We can use the warrant to get him back,” she told reporters, adding that she has had no contact with Faeldon.

Atty. Angeles actually said, "If Cpt. Faeldon actually escaped, then the warrant is fitting, but if he is being held by some other agency, then we can use the warrant to get him back."

Good to read your posts Epigone. By the way, contemplating writing a book on Gringo. Anyone know how I can reach him. I am in the South right now and can travel anywhere. I remember a while back (many many years) when we would have met in uniform but with fate... it never materialized. It would have been a great and challenging moment in history.

Thanks for the complement, sir desertranger. I appreciate it.

Have you ever heard of Gringo Honasan or Antonio Trillanes make a vocal vehement stand against or criticism of the Communist Party of the Philippines? Nothing!!!Their avowed enemies are Cory Aquino, Ramos, Marcos and Arroyo and never the NPA. The reknowned Hugo Chavez! Who inflitrated Venezuelan millitary academy and once in power declared and applied his socialist ideological beliefs. Wolves in sheeps clothing! in the PMA! Closet commies!

( I would like Philippine intel organizations to refer to a word, 'pingguo' and another statement to which Gringo was caught either apathetic or found the word and statement self-serving.)

Sir Epigone;
Those two remind me of my two Chiuahuahs I once had. they were terror on strangers but docile to their master. Did anyone figure out who is controlling them? I believe I have.
