Member Posts: 307 Group: Regulars Member #76 Joined: August 11, 2004	i took this pic of a ship docked in Subic this morning. i used my celfone camera so its not too sharp. It looks like a cargo ship but the paint is navy gray and the bow has the number 199. what type of ship is this? american?

Member Posts: 126 Group: Regulars Member #81 Joined: August 16, 2004	didu, US Navy ships that are manned by civilians have the prefix USNS for United States Naval Ship before their names. These ships, which are mostly cargo, tankers and hospital ships are unarmed.
