Guys,

Are our PAF pilots proficient in air-to-air refuelling ?? Or have they done this on Cope Thunder / Balikatan exercises in the past ??

Thank.

I think our air space is not that big to require air to air refueling. anyway, any asian country can dominate our air space in an instant. our airplanes won't stand a chance.

I think is already dangerous to get our planes off the ground, now adding the difficulty of air to air refueling. there'd be no airplanes left. :armycry:

the Philippines actually has a vast area to cover (territory and EEZ) , thus the need for the PAF to develop its air-to-air refuelling capability.

sadly, we LACK that capability and it could be quite awhile before that happens. :headbang:

That was the initial reason I was thinking when I came up with this topic. If we do have air-to-air refuelling, we can move our planes farther east (even south) when a crisis is brewing up. So that we can have a chance to fight another day ....

Or in the future, we can have a defense arrangement with Australia or even US (Using Guam) where we can have a continuous basing agreements with them as part of the cross-training that I do know are being discussed with them.

Just a thought ....
