I have been researching the F86-F fighter jet and have found that F86-F tail number 24742 was used by the PAF. There is a small picture of this aircraft on this website. I am trying to locate a larger photo if at all possible. Also I would like to find out the history and final fate of this fine fighter.

If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me at

Thank you for your time and help.

Warmest Regards

Kurt Gibson

Actually I recently acquired the manufactures data plate for this particular aircraft showing it's full U.S. A.F serial number 52-4743. I have been looking for it's history and especially a picture. I have been studying aviation and aircraft my entire life and I am 55 yrs old. I would like to find a picture that I could print out and frame with the data plate.

This is the reason that I am looking for information on F86-F 24743.

Thank you all for responding.

Kurt
