Hahaha! you are right bro , damn, it would be doubly painful on their part when they are being blasted to pieces by Z9 helos, cut in half by Chinese bullets and and trampled over by Chinese APCs - all used by the AFP in the future. Communism is dead, as dead as Lenin and Stalin and Mao Zedong put together. China is a communist in name only but greedy capitalism is now running rampant. :thumb: Hear this Sison, you have better chances of marrying Ara Mina than taking over this country with your brand of commie sheit! awwrrrr

JF17? Oh boy! We've forgotten what we've discussed about what makes an aircraft win! ![]() Have we forgotten the bubble canopies and the rear quadrants, the avionics, the delta wings, payloads, manueverability, etc, etc? I am not totally against the Z-9G because it's frame is European "quality". But JF-17? Come on, guys. Let's all consider all the factors. We are talking of our "EXTERNAL DEFENSE" here. Let's not make our military a junkyard. Although, we are .... at this point in time, we should now give the military what it should have to face the future. By the way, the US must understand that we WILL NEVER BUY a very expensive chopper like the Apache. The reasonable and acceptable fall back is the Super Cobra. Had the US offered that, plus a very viable payment scheme, the US would have a great chance of winning the contract. |

There are quite a wide variety of Chinese military aircraft. I think what the AFP should consider acquiring is the type that is most applicable to its current primary objective of defeating the insurgency soon - and this would mean ground attack aircraft. To israeli (which I surmise is quite knowledgeable on this) what particular Chinese aircraft available that would fit this category? |

I'm not too keen on the idea of acquiring more Chinese aircraft beyond the Z9 gunships. However, a few Chinese land warfare equipment are worth considering by the AFP. |

I agree... believe we should also seriously take into consideration buying Chinese (cheaper) ground military equipments; like howitzers, mortars, perhaps APCs and even tanks... But for the PAF, I'd rather go Russian or Western: reliable and effective. Perhaps we could also have a joint-venture with the Chinese and slowly check their tech

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Wala man syang remote forward gun-turret... Bahala na nga ang gobyerno natin, mas mabuti na ganito kesa sa wala. |

the WZ-10 is still under development, with the Z-9 "modified" attack helicopter being the stop-gap measure prior to the launch of the WZ-10. in short, should the PAF does buy Z-9Gs, we will be used by the Chinese as their crash test dummies to determine what modifications should be made to the WZ-10.

although i am furious about the latest bruhaha over the alleged purchase by the PAF of Harbin Z-9Gs, i am still not closing my options on other Chinese-made weapons and equipment such as the WZ523 APC, K-8 Karakorum basic jet trainer, JF-17 Thunder MRF, J-10 MRF, and Harbin Y-12 transport planes.
