It is an anti tank weapon using a spotting rifle to determine the point of impact before launching the main ordnance. Personally, i prefer the carl gustav 84mm RR, it does not need for the firer to expose himlesf by firing aiming shots from a spotting rifle. |

sir, so the purpose of the optical sight is to see the impact of the spotting rifle's round, not as a stand alone aiming device? this weapon looks complicated than a standard RR but sure looks like handier and easier to carry by a single infantryman |

i have not seen this weapon carried by our soldiers during independence day parade, still its good that we have this weapon :thumb: |

yeah its not one of those wire guided types and since it shoots a missle, it copied some of the old tank warfare doctrine that an aiming shot with the bore parallel mounted machine gun will serve as secondary aiming device if your primary bogs down or was knocked out. Further it does have its benefit if it shoots a tracer round and will extend visible distance across tank laid smoke and dust screen. |
