Manila, Philippines - (May 20, 2006)-- The Military Sealift Command ( MSC) hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) spends its first night of many in the Philippines anchored off the coast of Manila. TAWI-TAWI, Philippines – (June 11, 2006) Gov. Sadikul A. Sahali of the province of Tawi-Tawi, returns to the city after a tour of the U.S. hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19). The ship is anchored off the coast here where it began its first day of humanitarian aid.
