damn! even the Ecuadorians are far better off than us, as proven by this video commemorating the anniversary of the 1995 Ecuadorian-Peruvian border war.

This is really is sad. We have much more capability than the Columbians and Peruvians in getting better air assets, considering our ties with the US and our access to the EDA facility and especially with the growing economy, but the govt cant do much enough. Nonetheless, with the approved acquisition of the 12 night attack choppers, TAKE NOTE OF THE SURPRISINGLY EXPEDITED ACQUISITION covering the series of program blocks, we may not need to wait until 2010 to see JAS39 or Hornets carrying the Philipine Air Force emblem. I guess, we can expect a much improved military before the year ends and early next year. With how thinsg are going with our economy, i believe the MRFs will come before 2010 or even as early as 2008. :thumb: Just my assessment though. BUT THE GOVT NEEDS TO END THE COIN CONCERN FIRST, THAT'S WHY THEY NEED TO GET MORE ATTACK CHOPPERS, BETTER INTEL NETWORK AND PERHAPS MORE MEN. |
