First I wasnt sure it was a predator but one of the earlier models. As to who owns it is a guess at this point.

We do have two Predator UAVs in the Philippine Civil Registry. Registered to the Office of the National Security Adviser, Office of the President.

It could be Philippine registered but US operated (ie in our behalf).

Stop dreaming. It's not ours. This is what the US has claimed they are using in helping the AFP track the ASG in Sulu.

Look at those two guys in the photo. They arent even Pinoys.

Right...The one in the picture may not be but there are still two UAVs in the Philippine register, registered to the Office of the National Security Adviser.

If I could remember, there were so many models being tested here. Some even crashing down on rooftops of malls, etc. At the same time, U.S. Forces too are using them and evaluating these for similar applications on terrains like ours and are learning from it. Possibly those 2 that were acquired were part of the those demo/used units. Successful or not, were sold at a bargain to us rather than bringing them home with additional transportation cost for the manufacturers.

... could be the 2 that the Army engineers developed. These are pretty small and not as sophisticated as the Predator.[/color]

Manokskis web site stated that we have 2 Predator As. I tried to browse the web for verification but no luck.

Two UAVs have been registered to the National Security Advisor, Office of the President. The registrations are RP-C369 and RP-C370. Both are Predator A's.
