The PAF Website has just announced the promotion of 4 officers BGEN rank. . . but the dang article didn't say what their positions were. Is anyone familiar with their posts? Here is the "article" ![]() Col Jesus Villamor Air Base - 07 August 2006 - Air Force Chief Lt Gen Jose L. Obviously, the only alternative left to keep the rank and file content. Seen it too many times when I participated in the previous Balikatan's. I and my "kapwa" lower ranks would get these strange stares from AFP Officers during briefings because of this so called "status quo" that they could not believe that we were not only part of the staff, but also their briefers. Mahina and rank structure nang AFP. It is all relied upon not only senior ranks, but classes within the units to make things happen. Too much politics if you ask me, which is why the US is still training us after all these years. Some folks I met even had the notion that I was under cover due to my rank regarding the knowledge myself and my compatriots had. A lot of them had the notion that only Officers and not Enlisted or Junior Officers should be priveledged to such (tsk...tsk) information. |
