i dont think the americans need that training to eat snakes, its just photoop, they already have enough food and camelbak systems and if they lost in the jungle, their htech aircrafts will immediately look for them and find them in less thn 1 hr. :thumb:

The SAF is an armed force , not a civilian corporation. Its mission is to defeat its enemies, ruthlessly and completely. Its an instrument of controlled fury, designed to visit death and destruction of its foes...soldiers must have steel in their souls ..must learn in war to kill and not to flinch, to destroy and not to feel pity, to be a flaming sword in the righteous cause of national survival.

yes your right singalion but there hitech and aircraft are not dhelping them in Iraq :headbang:

and its nice to see philippine troops with more modern looking eqpt but sometimes the photo ops and parade photos are overdone, make the soldiers look funny and disfunctional like the phot of spotters above by edwin with night vision above the big googles in their helmets! it doesnt actually work that way in real life

That's why it's called jungle survival course a what if scenario. Being prepared to do worst when hoping for the best is not to come.

Nicely said ... I think it is not always the case that you can be easily extracted from hostile territory ... opinion only ... :-)
