I think you still need to have respectable grades. But the real hurdle is the PMA entrance examination. Our class valedictorian took the exam but failed to pass while another classmate with average grades passed but unfortunately failed in the physical, he had some kind of ailment.

Is it still true that even if you didn't do well in high school that you can still enter the PMA?

I also didn't do well in high school and I really want to join the PMA.
I already tried contacting the office of cadet admission about this through their website but it's almost been 2 weeks and I still haven't received a reply.

If anyone knows please tell me. Thanks

A minimum HS average grade of 85% is required.

Review your Math, English grammar, reading comprehension and analytical lessons prior to taking the exam.

Good luck!

That's just it, my GPA is lower than 85%. But I really think I can pass the entrance exam.
Is there really no other way around this?

Oh and thanks for the quick replies.

Unless they lowered the minimum grade requirement, I don't think there's any other way around it.

Sorry bro.

there's still hope, enroll at a reputable university, preferably engineering course then study your butt off to get really good grades before you apply for PMA admission after your freshman year.

One upon a time, not so long ago, in an archipelago not very far away, there was a boy who was not qualified to be admitted to the PMA, but being the godchild of a very powerful man, he got in anyway.

:devilwink:

Because you are not the godchild of a very powerful man there is no other way except to heed Ma'am Cindy's advice.

I studied BSIT in MSU-IIT for my freshman and sophomore years. I am supposed to be on my 3rd year this year but decided not to enroll. I also got decent grades, my GPA was around 2.2-1.9 (I'm not sure anymore because I can't get into their website since I did not enroll this sem) for each year. Is that good enough?

Just submit your academic records, they will evaluate it and inform you if you are qualified.
