Glad that you noticed that, Jammer.

I've considered all of it, in fact. Check the number of aircrafts for Butuan. I also added Cauayan, Naga, Tacloban and Roxas City for the deployment of attack and transport choppers.

Butuan is a strategic base that's why I also emphasized the transfer of the Airlift Wing from Cebu to this part of Mindanao. A squadron of MRFs will also be a good strategic approach in guarding the soutwestern border. The base in Ilocos Norte, Palawan, Rajah Buayan, Mactan, Villamor, Zambo and Basa are of strategic importance as well.

You will also notice that "Strike Wing" at Sangley Air Station (Atienza) is moved to Basa and Butuan since these areas provide a more strategic location for these assets.

By the way, this is the updated list. With this setup (especially the discreet deployment of "COIN or attack aircrafts plus the transport aircrafts) i am sure that our military will have a great chance of addressing any threat from any the rebel and terrorist groups. In fact, this may be the key to defeating the rebellion and terrorism.

We can now strike the enemy hard at ANY GIVEN OPPORTUNITY.

Hmmm... isn't it this is the Airbase with the most equipped and secured facilities? No other sophisticated assets?

Putting MRFs and attack aircrafts in Clark is okay. But considering that we have Basa anyway, I believe it will be best to put all the fighter and strike assets there to decongest Clark AB and give the airlift wing and maritime patrol planes more space.

Clark, having an international airport facility and being a regional commercial transhipment hub may somehow benefit the Airlift Wing.

The vast area Clark enjoys fits these gigantic assets. Not to mention the strategic location.

With regard to security, the military can ensure that by putting up the needed measures. The one below may provide a part of the solution;

Fellows,

Be sensible.

The tail of the thread was about a wish list and a suggestion for our bases.

Fix your mind, kyle. Dont turn this forum into a comedy studio. Ok?

Comrade Flipzi,

My Observation as of now on what the Basa and Clark Air Base on what there future maybe is the "BASES REALIGNMENT".It should be done in an existing area or base with co-existing facilities and equipment. This will give drastic change and give a bust in the bases operation in the future.

The existing bases are okay like in Basa, Atienza, Fernando, Villamor and Clark. These need not require the govt to construct new runways.

As for the rest of the major bases, like in Zamboanga, Buayan, Palawan, and hopefully in Butuan and Ilocos Norte, joint-use with the civil aviation is not a good strategy.

All the bases housing the MRFs should have their own facility and should not mix with civil aviation operations.

For the other bases like in Cuayan, Tacloban, Cebu and the rest, joint-use is okay since the number of assets arent as big as that of the major bases.

The major bases really need to get heir own facility, complete with runways and control towers.

Let me add comrade about "Bases Realignment" thing.it doesnt focus only in the facility and its equipment itself. But to a broader aspect such as "operation" as a whole . In this way civilian and military installation in times of emergency can operate smoothly.

This will involve a large upgrade to the facility and training to the personnel and listen the spending of both co existing facilities.
