HOLY CRAP!

WTF IS THE PNP DOING?

According to an automotive forum I visit, the group you mentioned is also active in the Scout area and along Tomas Morato and A. Roces Avenue during the wee hours of the night. It's ironic that there are police detachments within this area yet police presence seems to be less than optimal.

My brother stopped using his expensive SUV, he is now driving a nondescript white 1998 Toyota Corolla. Luxury cars and top line SUVs are the targets of carjackers.
Anyone who comes to a counter-insurgency thinking it`s about killing terrorists is missing the boat. It`s really about winning the people. You can kill all the terrorists but then you`ve pissed people off and created 100 more.

These incidents make me wonder about what I would do if an unmarked car with blinkers tried to flag me down at night.

Don't the PNP rules of engagement state that law enforcers must be in an official and clearly identifiable police vehicle and in uniform when conducting their operations?

No problem, Wushu.

I've been trying since last week to download the latest version of the PNP Rules of Engagement from their web site at this URL: http://www.pnp.gov.ph/down/content/pnp_pol...0ENGAGEMENT.pdf

However, the link is dead. If anyone can tell the powers-that-be at the PNP about this, it would be much appreciated.

This is the referring page for said link: http://www.pnp.gov.ph/down/content/down.html
