The Reservist and ROTC forum does not only caters to ROTC activities and topics. When you say the Reserves, this includes the Active Reservist in the different branches of the AFP. Meaning already in the service and part of the AFP involving active Commissioned Officers in the Reserves and not cadets. It so happens that ROTC was merge with it and is the source of these Reservist.

With PMA having it's own, isn't it disadvantageous to other academies producing officers in the AFP, like PNPA and the PMMA? Does it not gives you honor that your alma mater has it's own forum here which you should be thankful about?

As for the PCG and PNP, since they are civilian agencies, they were listed right after the different branches that are actually involved in the national defense and security which also includes attach groups (Reserves/ROTC and PMA).

I agree with your mistahs here.

I'm very sure the young cadet has extremely learned a lot from all of you by now. However Kubmanx, by all means, please feel free to participate here in PDFF and don't be a stranger (walang pikonan).

If it makes you feel any better, I too had taken my licks and learned a lot from all in here. The best thing is we're all educating each other. Welcome to the forum and see you around. :specool:

PDFF protects members identities - excellent practice -PDFF is a real fiscalizer of society!

I have invited active and retired AFP EPs and officers to this forum up to senior level officers and even elected politicians.

Mabuhay ang PDFF! Hindi nagpapagamit kahit kanino! Hindi Nasusuhulan! Hindi Duwag!

I cannot see how PMA is degraded by having it placed below ROTC and Reservists in this forum.  In fact, PMA was placed above the PNP and the Coast Guard.  Does that degrade the Coast Guard and the PNP using your argument?

Perhaps you chose the wrong word.  Instead of  using "degrading" you could have requested for "preferential order" citing a valid  argument.  Definitely not citing yourself as the elite, and therefore be rightfully placed above ROTC.  That is exactly that kind of mentality that has driven divisions within the military establishment.  The operating word is "tact."  Lots of tact.

How do you think the reservists and ROTC alumni now feel about your posting?  Be more circumspect when sensitivities such as this are raised.  You will discover this when you become an officer, hopefully.

I do not wish to ruffle your feathers but one day, you will be in the field, and you will  serve in combat.  There is no place for people to be thinking along lines of what service school they attended.  Be proud of your lineage but not at the expense of other tribes.  You have to temper your being part of an elite organization with a little humility.

If you will browse through past threads in PDFF you will find a lot of pissing contests or "my dick is bigger than yours" contests.  We have worked very hard within the confines of this forum to choose our words carefully to bridge that divide.  The same is true in the service.

Being a Peemayer, I would be the last one to object to something as trivial as the placement of a sub-forum.  I hold many of our colleagues in PDFF in high regard, regardless of source of commission, whether non-military or former military. There are asshats of Peemayers as there are asshats from ROTC.

Don't be one. Take note of that.

I agree to to your post being an ayer myself for 31 years welcome to the club. what class if i may ask do you belong? ie...... to give proper amenities to seniority.

:agree:

Kubmanx, this is not Fort del Pilar anymore.

This is a virtual clubhouse where all of those who do their best to share what they know meet and interact in helping our country. Though our interactions here may not sound harmonious sometimes, later on you'll see that it has turned out constructive most of the time.

I can understand the pride in you since you're still a cadet anyway.

But never forget that being there isnt about anything yet.

You must learn how to interact so that you will be better-equipped to handle all situations, wherever and whenever.

Welcome, brother. :armycheers:

Whys is the PMA forum placed below ROTC and Reservisits. The PMA is elite and should be placed above the Reservists and ROTC so this is not degrading to us cadets.

Hope the admin will take action on this.

Gentlemen, I don't think this narrow-minded Kubmanx is indeed a PMA Cadet! Better stop your unsavory statements which may create violent reactions from some PMAers in this forum.

The "Red Forces" are indeed good agitators!!! :headbang:

kubmanx, if you are a PMAers you gotta learn respect and humility.

Elite feeling is alright, but just like alcohol, beer for instance do not let in, in your head. or better do some push-ups to shake your head going to your balls.

You are not a showbiz star, to ask for a hierarchy in billing, only starlets do that.

Go to your marching ground and read outloud the words BOLDLY written and please register it in your head. Cadet. :armycool:
