just look at how far the Koreans have gone since the World War II and Korean War days.

once upon a time, the Philippines and South Korea were both recovering from the ravages of war. the Philippines was somewhat better off than South Korea as the former enjoyed the status of being Asia's second most prosperous economy. however, things suddenly had a 180-degree turn, with the Philippines going to its losing ways and South Korea being propelled into a seemingly modern, first-world state. with the dawn of the 21st century, the Philippines, the erstwhile "dragon economy", is still going down on its losing ways while South Korea, which suffered a lot at the two wars that it has gone through, is reaping the benefits of the economic prosperity that it worked hard to achieve for so many years.

damn! the truth really HURTS. :headbang: :demon:

Who will get multi-role fighters first, Timor L'este or the Philippines? :drunk:

Im kidding joke only...but hey last news i heard, Timor Leste bought Steyr Augs for its army defense force and bought HK-33 and Glocks for its Police. A special counter insurgency police force is being trained and armed with FN-FNC from Belgium, and its president/PM bodyguard force is armed with F2000 bullpups, plus US aid. The East Timorese government is also optimistic about the natural gas fields contracts with Australia will bring in needed revenue. I say they get fighters in 10 years? :demon: :devilwink:

Sorry ill keep it on topic.
