Thera are some ships that could be of intrerest for the PN

Four Flyvefisken klass is being deleted, they would be ideal for the PN since they can be used as Patrol ships, missile FACs and minehunters.

The next on the list is two ships of the Lindormen class minelayers. these could be used for transport, command, and even patrol

And in 2010 the three Nils Juel class Corvettes will be deleted

Here's wishing the PN could restore those ships from the recycle bin after the Danes deleted them. :drunk:

These are worth considering!

BTW, they seem to be usable still.

So, why is the Danish govt retiring them this soon?

They probably have new ships coming in.

Launched in 1986, that Flyvefisken is a relatively young vessel and its modular design can be advantageous to Phil Navy applications.

In 2000 they decided to slash all the 5 submarines and four Flyvefisken so they could save money in order to get new ships, the lindormen class and one bigger minelayer is replaced by the new flexible ships, so tell your senators to donate all of their pork barrel money to a down payment to the Danes :patrioticpinoy:

It makes me laugh seeing you holding our flag while you tell us that we should get your boats.

:armyLol:

Not a bad offer though. :armycheers:

Yeah, that's what's confusing me too.

How come we cant arm our Jacintos with missiles when the same type of ships used by other navies are fitted with these?
