Two qualities are indispensable: first, an intellect that, even in the darkest hour, retains some glimmerings of the inner light which leads to truth; and second, the courage to follow this faint light wherever it may lead.

These Chinese are very SNEEKY.... we need more patrol vessels in that area. We can deputize some fishermen or assign two Military escorts per Fishermen Boat Flotilla equipped with Communication Radios.

I think the Philippines should also put up structures in Philippine-claimed shoals and reefs just like what the Chinese are doing.. yun nga lang wala daw pera haay.. kung dun lang ginagastos sana yung mga pabaon sa mga heneral at opisyal ng militar, pinangbili ng sasakyan ng mga obispo, mga intelligence budget kuno, pera sa pandaraya.. hindi ka maniniwalang walang pera ang Pilipinas e araw-araw na lang balita ay puro kurapsyon at pagnanakaw ng limpak limpak na pera.. hindi ako naniniwalang hindi kaya ng Pilipinas na magtayo ng mga istruktura sa mga pulo sa Spratlys, ayusin ang airstrip sa Pag-Asa at kung anu ano pa.. P..a nakakangalit mga bwa..... ina nyo...

Philippine lawmakers fly to Spratlys amid China warning

Quote:

A group of Philippine lawmakers flew to the disputed Spratly islands Wednesday, officials and aides said, amid warnings by China that the trip would destabilize the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea) and damage ties.

The five House of Representative members and a small party of journalists left Puerto Princesa on Palawan island for Thitu island aboard two private planes in the morning, airport officials said.

Congressmen raise Philippine flag on Pag-Asa Island

Quote:

MANILA, Philippines -- Two 12-seater planes carrying five lawmakers, high ranking military officials, and foreign and local media touched down on the Philippine-claimed Pag-Asa Island in the disputed territory of Spratlys past 10:00 a.m. today.

Upon arrival at the island, Akbayan Rep. Walden Bello spearheaded the raising of a new Philippine flag in the area, which replaced the old and dilapidated national symbol.

“This is a historic moment for the congressional delegation. This is Philippine territory," Bello said.

“We come in peace, we support a diplomatic solution. But let there be no doubt in anybody’s mind, in any foreign powers’ mind that if they dare to eject us from Pagasa, Filipinos will not take that sitting down. Filipinos are born to resist aggression. Filipinos are willing to die for their soil,” he added.

He also called on dozens of residents on the island to stop calling the seas that surround the island as South China Sea, but West Philippine Sea.

He asserted that the lawmakers' trip to the island was to assert the Philippines' claim to the potentially oil-rich region, in defiance of China's protest that the visit threatens regional stability.

The visitors, government employees and troops sang the national anthem after a Philippine flag was raised on the island.

Bravo Bello! :ssalute:
Renounce your hatred. Seek, find, and embrace the truths you are fortunate enough to discover, cherish them use them to anchor you in the sea of chaos that is the world we live in. When the twilight draws near, when you are pushed to the very limits of your soul, when it seems that all you have left are the dead remains of the fabric of your life, believe.

Just proves the need for more Maritime Patrol Aircraft & Patrol Vessels.

Good job Navy in finding & eradicating these encroachment despite the limited resources.
