OK, I reiterate my position that the alleged shooting of Filipino fishing boats by Chinese frigates is not true and most likely just made up by the Phil military to gain sympathy from the international community. |

Really how about the Policy to DENY and Never to Admit? Before all these things happened, the Philippines were in a very diplomatic and peaceful attitude towards everything with regards to China, Spratlys was even something that can be considered as a problem that can be solved through peaceful joint agreements. Then came along CHINA's interests and actions, trying to claim the the whole South China Sea or WEST PHILIPPINE SEA shall I say.. worst is they've included areas that aren't included in Spratlys, not even part of disputed islands and are originally part of the Philippines EEZ territorial waters. Now that is unacceptable and our President even told Chinese DFM that we don't want "Arms Race" in SE Asia. on their meeting last month... So we were pushed to a corner where we don't want to be! ONLY THING WE WANT IS FOR THEM TO RESPECT WHAT IS TRULY OURS AND RESPECT OTHER COUNTRIES EEZ TERRITORIES AS WELL... |

As commonly said - the ball is in the hands of the Philippines government. Its your government who made the accusation so its your government's obligation to provide proof e.g. video & pics of Chinese ships shooting at the fishing boats, recon hotos of Chinese warship 560 in actual waters within Spratlys... etc.. So far none. I will be the first to apologize if you can present viable proof that the incident did happen. |

Then how is it possible that those fishermen have positively identified that they are being confronted by Chinese Warship no 560 and not any other number.... Thats because all of the fishermen heard on the radio and they are positive. No Fishermen can make up stories and come-up with that Chinese Warship number, right? If the fishermen just make up stories then they should be said a Patrol boat no. 9 or something... How dare those Chinese do that to our fellow countrymen. With regards to other incidents, like the presence of Maritime Surveillance ship and Exploration vessel in our Reed Bank. There are photos taken by patrolling PAF aircrafts and still the Chinese said that its boats are just passing thru. Passing thru? Why is it in full halt and anchored down in Reed bank? Decades past but Chinese have LIED to the Philippines like what happen in Mischief Reef... Chinese told us that its a Fishermen Shelter but only the Chinese can use it and even installed Satellite Disc antenna and Gun emplacements and even manned by Chinese Marines. Now they have erected 2 more Building structures inside Mischief Reef.... Is China a MODERN-day Colonizer that it will give you a goodwill smile when it faces you but stab you at the back? Is that a Bad Rumor too? |

It would not be very difficult to invent a story of fishermen seeing the no. 560. Could have been spoon fed to them by the military. Many of the cheapest cellphones now have camera and I don't believe not a single crew of these fishing boats doesnt have a cameraphone, it would have been easy for any one of them to take a pic of these Chinese frigates if it were true. |
