Coming from a Soldier/Navy of the Philippines and even an some ordinary Filipinos, knows that the US can't be directly involved in anything like this, they let soldiers like you to do the dirty work, giving instructions to your higher ups and your CO's, especially with regards to conflicts in the "Disputed Islands" nevertheless most of the plans and especially when it comes to security, the US plays a big role before even in Politics in the Philippines.  :armywink:

What are your bases in positing this allegation?

Can you provide links to reputable sources supporting your claim that the US may have controlled or directed the actions of the AFP in the Spratlys?

Adequately justify this or you're just trolling.

I don't mean to sound like "Trolling" Sir S, and I've never used the word SPRATLEYS on the point that I was trying to make re; occupation of Mischief Reef by Chicoms and only use KIG which we control, the way they analyze my point is generalizing the whole area, which clearly not the way I see it....

Re; "Right after" I apologize and made a mistake using "Right" and rephrase that to "after" the US Bases left.

All these kind of things re; US requested something or suggested something during those times are possible especially regarding it's security for the bases and it's interests is at stake in any Foreign Countries that have US Bases.

But only let the Country Host deal with the issues or needs under normal "Protocol" and "Need to know basis".

halata namang nag trolling lang yan boss S

:lollol:

ginawang tuta tayo ng mga kano...linya ng mga leftist yun a

While i see some problem with AVB in understanding the concept here, that doesnt mean you gonna treat him like that with your insulting smiley.

It's wrong to just judge a forumer like that and make fun of him.

Considering you been here longer than him, then why dont you set a good example and be reasonable like other old time forumers here than insulting the person.

Don't act like an ahole timawan here, this is PDFF so dont treat this place like others.

:nono:

In fairness discrete timawans never allowed garbage comments like that as long as the thread focus on the topic itself. I valued RESPECT for all the forum users.
Address Spratly Island to KALAYAAN ISLANDS, South China Sea to WESTERN PHILIPPINE SEA or Kanlurang Dagat ng Pilipinas.

I say NO to garbage bags. Sir MC have tried to implement it here, but we shouldn't copy that idea. But if really have to copy the timawans, then just call it something like "Recycled Bin" or simply delete it.

I KNOW that the US is indirectly involved in the KIG issue. In the intelligence service there are classified information that says so. If you need to know what it is JUST to get a proof that it is true then your asking too much. As it is explained it is CLASSIFIED. The US knows that the Chicoms are intruding our EZZ and that is the very reason why they communicated with our AFP to do something about it. Mr. T's task force then were given the orders to destroy anything planted by this communists in our territories. The US knows because these are the very areas they travel to get to Vietnam in the 70's. They will not do anything because they just don't want to be involved DIRECTLY. They do this because this is their foreign policy.

I agree with avb and TagaLaguna! :thumb:

They both have a point! lalo na si AVB tungkol sa Mischief Reef.

Bakit hindi nyo makuha? it's true that the Americans are very much into securing it's interests, kung baga the presence of the bases here made a difference, ewan ko ba sa mga engot na mga Senador at pinaalis ang US ng hindi muna pina-modernize ang AFP! NAIWAN TULOY TAYO SA PANSITAN!

They know of course but the point of contention is whether the presence of US bases deterred the Chinese from encroaching into the so-called Philippine EEZ. Tormentor said it did not bases or no bases.

The practice of destroying buoys and markers was effective in preventing China from building more permanent structures but when it was ordered halted during the time of Ramos thats when China got the chance to rapidly build up its hold on Mischief Reef.
