Wow! A lot of bad activities going on, been away for a while but I tried to review everything all night and it doesn't look good...

I fully agree Tony, Tsuki and grit the Philippine Govt. must now need to show it's NO FEAR side, stand firm to secure and assert it's claim, protect our territories and interests at all cost or else prepare to lose everything in WPS area.

"We are like dealing with a Great White Sharks, they won't stop and continue to search especially if they can smell fear and blood coming from their prey, but coming from many survivors testimony of attack, a Great White Shark considering how great, big and powerful, the survivors said they survived by poking it's eye."

"Walang malaking bagay na nakakapuwing!"
Think it's time for us to introduce and show our "Juramentado" side, reasons why the Americans invented the Colt 1911... They won't like us if we get angry.

Is this outcome not what I told you it would be if you backed down to the Chinese? They do not respect diplomacy. For them diplomacy is a tool by which to screw you by. Our leadership is losing credibility.

If they do not respect diplomacy, fine.

I have been thinking of a way of making China bow, and here are my ideas;

*Trade Embargo China, discourage the buying of Chinese products, attack the Renminbi.
*Encourage production in other industrialized and developing countries (such as Japan, SK, Phils., Malaysia, Vietnam maybe, why not?)
*Pull out peace talks and make a "multinational ASEAN band" against China's "bullying practices on the Spratlys".

I know that the first step is hard, since nearly 50% of the products we have here on the Phils. is Made in CHINA, but with the help of other countries, I am quite sure that we'll do fine.

Well, just my opinion.
Success through information, victory through disinformation.

Nice ideas Mr. Parastriker, we may be able to do some of your ideas as a follow true, but a decisive action must be done first.

It won't be that easy to do all of these, China had it all well planned a long time ago, spread planted their seeds almost anywhere in the World with timing, so when harvest time comes they can reap the rewards, either on a negative or positive side effect.

tutal mahilig gumamit ang mga Intsik ng mga Piratang mangingisda..then ganun din gawin natin... Let us deputize some fishermen by building them small fishing boats like the BALANGAYs (Modernized designed Wood HULL na) to use a Surveillance Fishing boats while fishing but secretly armed with probably Garand rifles and M79 Grenade Launcher & Radio communications to make them look like Filipino Pirates out to eliminate Chinese Pirates...

Philippines says China boosts presence in shoal

The Philippines alleged Saturday that China had again increased its presence around a disputed shoal and had harassed a Filipino civilian vessel, after the week-old standoff appeared to have eased.

Hours after reporting that all but one Chinese vessel had left the waters off Scarborough Shoal in the South China Sea by Friday, Philippine Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosario said one of the larger vessels later returned.
This boosted the Chinese presence to two vessels, while a Chinese aircraft also arrived and made fly-bys above a Philippine coast guard vessel stationed in the area, he said.

A Chinese ship also harassed a Philippine-registered vessel conducting a scientific survey, del Rosario said without elaborating.
"It appears that there is an element that is lacking in our negotiations," he said in a written statement to reporters after receiving an updated report from the coast guard.
The crisis started Sunday when the Philippines found eight Chinese fishing boats in the area, which the Philippines claims as its territory.

It only shows that if you let your opponent pushes you around and you get intimidated then they will do that again and again. Slowly but surely they will erect a fishermen structure compared to Mischief Reef.

:headbang:

I agree with Sen. Lacson here,

Quote:

The Senator took note of the silence of the United States government on the incident. He said a US statement of concern or warning would have made a difference in China’s posturing.

Lacson, chairman of the Senate committee on national defense and security, said the Philippines should count on US support in such situations based on its existing Mutual Defense Treaty with the world’s superpower.

But, what about Senate Pres. Juan Ponce Enrile's comments;

Quote:

Meanwhile, Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile said it’s ridiculous for China to insist on claiming the entire South China Sea just because the latter – one of the world’s busiest sealanes – is named after the country.

Using China’s logic, Enrile said just about every island or territory may be claimed by any country after which it is named. China is claiming the entire South China Sea and all the islands therein, citing ancient maps and text.

He said several countries have oceans and seas named after them, but they don’t claim ownership to these bodies of water. For instance, India has never claimed the Indian Ocean just as Iran has never considered the whole Persian Gulf its own. Persia is the ancient name of Iran.

“The problem with them is that they (China) are claiming Scarborough on the basis of it being in the South China Sea. But if this is the case then Iran can claim all of the islands in the Persian Gulf and India for the Indian Ocean because these are named after them,” Enrile said.

O manong Johnny,

Akala ko ba kaya kaya mo at alam mo kung paano patakbuhin ang Pilipinas sa mga palad ninyo at sisiw lang sa inyo, especially being a former Defense Chief ni Macoy and the 3rd Highest official in the Govt. ito lang ba ang ma i comment niyo po????

The Filipino people and the Country needs more from you, narinig na namin ito sa inyo dati, maraming beses na! Mag advise naman kayo po sa itaas at siguradong mina migraine na si P.Noy na magdesisyon at panindigan yung mga posturing nila, bigyan niyo kaya ng "V" para tumigas tigas ng konte...
