This is going to be hairy with PLAN destroyer steaming towards the area, but Goyo should not back down. We have the moral high ground since the Chinese fishermen have been caught with prohibited species on board. |

This is a insult to us we must act upon it more money to our modernization and citizens must prepare to defend our country |
|
"No sacrifice is too great in the service of freedom." “As long as we are not willing to provide an adequate, suitable and capable defense for this country, we will be oppressed, demeaned and dishonored. We will be the stepping mat of every country in this region,”(Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile) “Just because we are a very weak country militarily, we should not be taken advantage of by more powerful countries" (Senate committee on national defense and security chairman Panfilo Lacson) | |

We were told to leave our EEZ. Wow! Typical communist lies! When will they become more civilized? Their coast guard ships are within our EEZ and must be apprehended also. That is good if they bring in their destroyer. That just brings in the US Navy also. The more our modernization will be fast tracked. It is time to wake up Filipinos! Small wars looming over the horizon! |

an additional response to our "tough" stance over Panatag (Scarborough): we're filing diplomatic protest against China. "I made it clear that Scarborough Shoal is an integral part of the Philippines and is well within the country's 200 nautical miles Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and Continental Shelf." "Under international law, we have sovereignty and sovereign rights over Scarborough Shoal. Finally, I mentioned that the Philippines is prepared to secure our sovereignty." <snipped> More of the article here. |
